Stuck in a jam

(back of the que)

The tree is up and decorated with tinsel, mum is home recuperating in bed just in time before the big freeze came but i still had to go out in it to finish the Christmas shopping...thankfully though there wasn't many things to get. Ted warned me that there was a crash at the bottom of pen y bont hill and to take it easy. Passing the 4x4 that was a right off on the side of the road i headed strait to Morrison's, it was heaving with people and every isle was madness and all tills totally jammed packed out, it took ages to get out of there but By the time i did it was thick with snow. Driving off towards pen y bont traffic didn't seem to be going nowhere fast and i was stuck like the rest of them, no one going up the hill as the bus was stuck at the bottom and the same with the cars coming down. Getting fed up i did a u turn and headed towards town but that was just as bad, cars were sliding all over the place in front of me making me very nervous, (mum phones asking where i am! that's how long ive been out)traffic was at a crawl but at least it was moving. I eventually got home but the traffic was chaos.

Oh remember the earlier post of the Tara Palmer Tomkinson look a like! well she had been bending over backwards into organising transport home for mum. It pays to shout sometimes.

Just a little thank you

The snow has subsided for the time being, mum is asleep and i pop out with a box of chocolates and a card to take to A&E to thank them for treating mum. As soon as i get there the receptionist recognised me and asked how mum was i told her she was home but still has to go in for blood at the day hospital tomorrow. I gave her the chocolates and wished her a merry Christmas.
