Christmas 2011

Can i just say, I hope you all had a wonderful new year and a great Christmas. I went home to my family after an absence of two years! well overdue and greatly welcomed. Mum looked well but i know she's still very poorly and can not walk walk far now, but that didn't stop us both hugging each other. Ted was just glad to see me home.

On Christmas day ceri (mums sister) called over to have Christmas dinner with us. She is also recovering from cancer. Her hair is growing back now and her nails are still distorted but they are not black any more after using a solution like cream to rub on. They both been there for each other when one of them became ill and still are. Their bond is very strong.
I wanted to take a photo of them together with pat (younger sister) no one would budge! but got this shot just as ceri was leaving.

Photo of mum and pat ( she has downs) opening presents after our dinner. Mum no longer can look after her and is living with carers in a house five miles away. Its a lovely house and so homely even i wanted to move in. By 4pm she was ready to go and mum and i took her home i guess now. Bless you pat...was put through the mill last year when there was lump found on her breast. Thankfully she has the all clear now.

Everyone loved there presents this year, me included and had a theme to them...the colour purple..lol. Purple hat and scarf, purple pjs, purple dressing gown and purple money. Purple is the new black this year.
